In @Rovio 's Supernatural City we had some transition images that were used as a bridge from one chapter to another. While the next episode was charging Ellie had time to reflect on what was going on in the story or what were her feelings about any given subject.
It was a nice way to give the player the sensation that there was a bigger world around the characters. And as an artist it was a joy to explore different locations.
I think this is the one I was happier with.
